Just as I get to my
car, a hand wraps around mine. I swing around, only to find Brody looking down
at me. “Did you think of an answer to my question, Quince? Are you with Declan
or not?”
I’m not sure why it matters to him. He’s not interested in
me like that anyway. “I’m not with anyone, Brody. I’ve only known him a week.
That’s not long enough to know anything about anyone.”
“Oh, I don’t know about that. I know enough about you to
know that I want to get to know you better.” His voice lowers, and he leans
down just close enough that I can feel his breath on my cheek. “I know enough
to know that I’d like to kiss you right now. To know that if I do, it won’t be
nearly enough.” His lips graze my face, just enough to let me know they are
there. “I know you want to kiss me like I want to kiss you. I just don’t know
the answer to my question.” If I just moved an inch, his mouth would be on
mine. And I want it.

“I could stay here forever if you always looked at me just
like that.” I don’t understand what he means, but I can’t take my eyes off him.
“Everything.” His voice deepens while he looks into my eyes. “I like everything
about you, Quince. I like the way those little wisps of hair frame your face. I
love your eyes, so deep I get lost i...n them. Those lips I can’t resist. But I
like you, Quince. The first time I saw you, I was drawn to you. I knew right
then that you would turn my world upside down. It scared the hell out of me,
but I knew I’d follow you anywhere.” He just made me feel beautiful, really
beautiful, for the first time in my life.
There are no words for that. Instead, I wrap my arms around
his neck and roughly kiss him. I twist my fingers in his hair and wonder why I
haven’t done that before. Besides his eyes, his hair is the sexiest thing about
him. But it’s what he hides on the inside that I so desperately want to see.

The author really made this book justice! I'm looking forward reading the book of this author..
About the story........
Man, when I was reading the book, my emotion was all over the place.
I love the characters and also their personalities. I love how they blended and how it made them likeable.
As I half way through it, I can't put it down. I was so excited what will be happening (the climax, issues and how will they work things out).. It's so worth reading and hopefully you will also enjoy this book as much as I do!

Sydney Lane lives in Nashville, TN with her husband and
children. Growing up in Smalltown, USA, Sydney dreamed of being a writer. After
spending an obscene amount of money to go to college, Sydney finally decided to
follow her heart. With her babies in bed and husband neglected, she worked by
the light of her laptop and wrote Choices. Sydney is very active in charity
work for anti-bullying and depression awareness groups.
